1. Why NJOY and not another brand?
NJOY is a market leader in e-cigarettes. Based in the USA, NJOY is the No. 1 selling Electronic Cigarette brand in the world and is sold in over 50 countries worldwide. With extensive quality control and R&D, the consumer can rest assured that safety is paramount.

NJOY Ireland, based in Dublin, offers the longest manufacturer's warranty of 6 months and fast, reliable service nationwide.

2. How Does NJOY Work?
NJOY e-cigarettes are a revolutionary new smoking alternative that looks, feels and tastes like a cigarette, and gives smokers all the pleasure and satisfaction of traditional smoking without all the social and economic problems.

The non-flammable NJOY is driven by modern microelectronic technology, a small rechargeable battery and a unique replaceable cartridge and membrane containing water, propylene glycol, nicotine, and a scent that emulates tobacco and other flavourings.

When using NJOY, the act of inhaling (smoking) produces the tactile and craving satisfactions smokers seek and triggers a vaporizing process that releases simulated smoke which is actually a vapour mist that evaporates into the air within a few seconds. In summary, NJOY replicates the behavioural and physical pleasures of smoking.

3. How do you use NJOY?
The NJOY electronic cigarette is a very easy-to-use, convenient product. It is rigid, doesn't crush and can be stored in a purse, pocket, drawer and any other handy location. When you are ready to use NJOY, simply unscrew the indicator light tip at one end of the device, insert an NJOY rechargeable battery, and screw the tip back on. Then, at the opposite end of the device, screw on your choice of cartridges. At this point, in just a few easy steps, you are ready to begin enjoying NJOY.

When you are ready to use the NJOY Cigarette, screw a fully-charged battery to the atomiser. Then at the opposite end of the device, insert (firmly) your choice of NJOY Cigarette Cartridge. Now you are ready to draw on the NJOY Cigarette just like you would a traditional tobacco cigarette.

4. What are the leading reasons people use NJOY?
Most people who smoke, smoke because they enjoy the tactile, emotional and physical sensations. NJOY provides similar pleasures. The leading reasons people use NJOY include:

Remarkable facsimile of traditional smoking
For smoking pleasure
No first or second hand smoke
Virtually odourless
Freedom to smoke anywhere, anytime, anyplace.
Social inclusion versus isolation
Non-flammable, convenient
Tobacco-like? taste and speciality flavours
Lower cost than traditional smoking
Replicates the behavioural and physical pleasures of smoking.

5. Can I smoke NJOY anywhere?
Since NJOY is non-flammable, contains no tobacco and emits no second hand smoke, its use is not prohibited where laws prohibit smoking products that produce second hand smoke. NJOY customers have used the product without issue or complaint in pubs, restaurants, workplaces, flights and many other locations where tobacco smoking is discouraged or prohibited.

Still, do not be surprised when people ask about you smoking NJOY. After all, to the casual observer, using NJOY creates the appearance of tobacco smoking. Customers report that simply explaining to others how NJOY works usually creates acceptance for using the product anywhere, any time, any place. Included in the starter kit is an explanation card that can be carried in your wallet.

Enclosed with each NJOY Starter Kit you will find a wallet-sized card (that you are encouraged to maintain on your person) that is a quick reference that will help you explain NJOY to anyone who asks.

6. What does NJOY taste and feel like?
The regular cartridge tastes very similar to a cigarette but a lot smoother. In fact, most users prefer NJOY to a traditional cigarette.

NJOY also provides that sensation in your throat as you draw on the e-cig, which for a lot of smokers, is the main pleasure of smoking.

NJOY cartridges are available in Regular or Menthol, in either high, medium, low or zero nicotine levels.

7. Where does the smoke go?
NJOY emits what appears to be smoke but is actually a virtually odourless mist that evaporates into the air within seconds, similar to the functioning of a humidifier. NJOY leaves no visual residue in the air or lingering smell in clothes, a home or car, or other places, whereas tobacco smoking can leave an unsightly, acrid cloud known to irritate eyes and bother people's senses.

8. How long does the battery charge last?
An NJOY battery will last 1/2 to 2 days before needing re-charging, depending on the intensity and quantity of puffs. The indicator light tip will blink 30 times for about 9 seconds when the battery is getting low on power. We encourage you to carry with you an extra charged battery.

Charge a new battery initially for about 3 hours. Subsequent recharges should take about 2 hours. A battery can be recharged in excess of 300 times before reaching its useful life. NJOY also offers an automobile cigarette lighter charger for your convenience.

NJOY uses a 3.6V special lithium battery and charger, which cannot be replaced by other lithium batteries or chargers. The input supply voltage of the charger is AC100-240V, 50/60Hz, or DC 12-24V. When travelling, ensure that the local electrical supply is in accordance with these specifications.

9. How long does a cartridge last?
How long a cartridge lasts will vary depending on the NJOY product you select and the intensity of an individual's average inhalation. With this in mind, and on the basis of equivalent number of puffs experienced with traditional tobacco products, here are the approximate comparisons:

One NPRO cartridge = 1/2 to 3/4 pack of tobacco cigarettes.

If you experience little or no vapour when using, ensure that your battery is fully charged and properly attached to the NJOY product, and that the cartridge is firmly inserted in the end of the product. When the vapour volume is reduced below a satisfactory level, replace with a new NJOY cartridge.

Store cartridges in a cool and dry place. Shelf life is 24 months from purchase date. You should never place other liquids in an NJOY cartridge and doing so will void the product warranty and may pose health risks.

10. How much will I save?
The saving is approximately €6 to €7 per pack of cigarettes, depending on the brand you currently smoke. It may take as little as a 2 weeks for a smoker to recover the cost of a NJOY starter kit.

11. How do the ingredients compare to those in common smoking products?
NJOY contains only water, propylene glycol, nicotine, a scent that emulates a tobacco flavour and other flavourings and a membrane to suspend the ingredients. The Food and Drug Administration deems propylene glycol safe. Although Nicotine is addictive, Nicotine itself is not believed to have toxicological effects, offers some therapeutic uses and can be found in pepper, cauliflower, tomato, eggplant, potato and teas.

Cigarettes and cigars, meanwhile, commonly contain tobacco, hundreds of additives, nicotine, glue and paper, which when ignited, according to the Centres for Disease Control, harm nearly every organ of the body, and cause cancer, and cardiovascular and respiratory disease.

12. Are there any maintenance issues with NJOY?
NJOY is very easy to use. In general, the only maintenance required is charging and replacing batteries, as well as inserting fresh cartridges. Here are other NJOY maintenance tips:

Internally controlled by a micro-computer program, the NPRO and NCIG have an automatic cleaning function. When the user has inhaled for 1,500 times, the indicator light will shine continuously for 15-20 seconds while the product begins an automatic cleaning process. This process will not affect the use of the product.

When removing the cartridge, grasp the cartridge toward the tip, twist and pull off. Should you experience difficulty in removing the cartridge, apply a small amount of petroleum jelly or lip balm to the shaft of the vaporiser.

Keep NJOY away from extreme high and low temperature environments while in use or storage.

Protect the NJOY products from contacting metal articles in your pocket, wallet or other bags. The conductors can bring about a short circuit, heating or damages to the battery and atomizer component.

13. Does NJOY trigger smoke alarms?
No, smoke alarms detect smoke. NJOY only emits vapour and will therefore not trigger the alarm.

14. What do I need to purchase to get started on NJOY?
The starter kit, includes everything you need to get you started. You may also consider purchasing a spare atomiser and additional cartridges.

15. I'm not a smoker, can I try NJOY?
We DO NOT recommend smoking any cartridge containing nicotine.

16. Any tips on smoking my new NJOY Cigarette?
It is best to take slow, steady drags. It may take a few days to learn how to optimally use your new cigarette. Its a good idea to always carry a spare battery and cartridge with you.
